# UsagePoint

> UsagePoint is a renewal decision tool for Microsoft 365 Copilot from Apps 365 Ltd (UK). It shows which Copilot seats are in use, prices idle seats in pounds at the customer's own contracted price, and lets admins nudge, reclaim or reassign seats with approval. It runs inside the customer's own Microsoft 365 tenant as a SharePoint web part, with Power Automate flows the customer owns.

Key facts:

- Status: Release 1 is planned for mid January 2027. UsagePoint is not on Microsoft AppSource yet. Early access and demos are open.
- Usage data never leaves the customer's tenant. The only outbound call is a daily licence check-in (tenant ID, site address, app version, licence state), on by default, which a site admin can switch off.
- It never reads prompts or Copilot responses, never meters tokens and never gives individual productivity scores or rankings.
- Figures are estimates from Microsoft's usage reports (typically up to two days old) at the price the customer enters; every number shows its source and age.
- Reclaim is never automatic: nudge first, 14 days' notice with a "still need it" reply, then a licence admin approves; a flow in the customer's own Power Automate makes the change.
- Privacy defaults: names follow the tenant's report concealment setting (never changed by UsagePoint), department figures hidden below 10 people (never below 5), named views opt-in and logged, 13-month retention.
- Customer prerequisites: SharePoint Online; a reporting role such as Reports Reader to view usage; Power Automate premium for the reclaim flow owner; Entra ID P1 or P2 only for last sign-in dates.
- Pricing (planned, per tenant per year, excluding VAT): free snapshot; about GBP 995 up to 100 Copilot seats; GBP 2,495 for 101 to 500; GBP 4,995 for 501 to 2,000; larger by quote. Suite bundle around 25% off.
- Suite: GovernPoint (Ready), ExposurePoint (Safe) and UsagePoint (Used and worth it).
- Works alongside Microsoft's own reports. Not made or endorsed by Microsoft.
